Lieve ouders,
Er is een nieuwe vaccinatie-ronde gestart voor de herhaalprik of boostervaccinatie tegen het coronavirus, hiervoor wordt je het komende najaar uitgenodigd.
- Als je zwanger bent kan je de coronavaccinatie/boosterprik/herhaalprik ook halen, dit lijkt op ieder moment van de zwangerschap te kunnen zolang er 3 maanden na de laatste coronavaccinatie of coronabesmetting zit.
Als je de uitnodiging voor de booster nog niet hebt ontvangen van de GGD dan kan je met een gepersonaliseerde uitnodigingsbrief van het Bolwerk ook terecht bij de GGD voor een afspraak.
Vraag onze assistentes naar deze brief of mail ons even. Wij mogen de brief niet mailen maar leggen hem klaar zodat je hem kan ophalen op de praktijk.

Ook is het vanaf dit jaar mogelijk om tijdens je zwangerschap de griepprik aan te vragen via je huisarts. Het criterium is dat je tussen 1 oktober en 31 december minstens 22 weken (of verder) zwanger bent. Vraag je huisarts om meer informatie over de griepprik of maak meteen een afspraak.

Vanaf 22 weken zwangerschap is het ook mogelijk om een kinkhoestvaccinatie te halen bij het consulatiebureau. Wij mogen jullie als verloskundigen alleen informeren over de optie tot vaccineren en het bestaan ervan, wij adviseren niet. De overweging om wel of niet te vaccineren kan best lastig zijn en dat snappen wij. Mocht je meer informatie wensen kijk dan bij onderstaande links of vraag de instantie die de vaccinatie zet jou te helpen in je keuze.

Dear Parents,
A new round of vaccinations has started for the repeat- or boostervaccination against the coronavirus, you will be invited for the booster this autumn.
- If you are pregnant you can also get the coronavaccination / boostershot / repeatshot, this seems to be possible at any time of pregnancy as long as there is 3 months after the last coronavaccination or corona infection.
If you have not yet received the invitation for the booster from the GGD, you can also contact the GGD for an appointment with a personalized invitation letter from our Bolwerk midwivery practice.
Ask our assistants for this letter or email us. We are not allowed to email the letter but will have it ready so you can pick it up at the practice.

From this year it is also possible to request the flu shot during your pregnancy through your GP. The criterion is that you are at least 22 weeks (or further) pregnant between 1 October and 31 December. Ask your GP for more information about the flu shot or make an appointment right away.

From 22 weeks of pregnancy it is also possible to get a whooping cough vaccination at the "consultatiebureau".
As midwives, we can only inform you about the option to vaccinate and its existence, we do not advise anything. The consideration of whether or not to vaccinate can be quite difficult sometimes and we understand that.
